I chose Unity because of its unique design to train residents in community health centers around Washington, DC. I am interested in delivering preventive care to our diverse group of patients in order to create healthier communities. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exercising, playing volleyball, and traveling.

Family medicine to me is about treating the whole patient and finding the factors of their life that need help and addression those factors. Preventing a patient from ending up in the hospital and improving his quality of life is a career I can be proud of. I am happy I choose The Wright Center at Unity so I can fulfill that goal. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Unity health Care- DC was my first choice because after spending a month rotating as a medical student, I felt very connected to the mission and vision of Unity and the Wright Center where underserved populations are provided with access to medical care, both a noble and humbling cause. I also witnessed how the preceptors and residents alike enjoyed teaching and also displayed a camaraderie and consistent satisfaction in the program. I feel very privileged to be a part of this great team of compassionate colleagues and I look forward to growing as a new Family Medicine Physician with Unity and the Wright Center and using what I learn to provide better medical outcomes for my patients and the community. In my free time, I enjoy working out, visiting museums, reading, watching movies and most of all spending time with family and friends.

I chose Family Medicine because of its versatility and comprehensive scope, and I am excited to take part in the mission of Unity Health Care and serving its communities. I also appreciate the emphasis on Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and being supported throughout this learning process. My interests outside of medicine include spending quality time with God, my wife, and my family and friends. Additionally, I enjoy exercise and playing sports, watching movies, and reading.
