Nurse Practitioner Residency Program
The Unity Health Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) Residency Program aims to recruit and retain quality individuals committed to caring for the most vulnerable populations and prepare the next generation of nurse practitioners in alignment with the Unity mission, vision, and values.
Unity's NP Residency will hire fully licensed FNP's that have graduated from an accredited NP program within the last 18 months. The residency consists of a 12-month, full-time salaried position for participants focused on primary care, followed by two years of commitment after completion.
Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to providing care to medically underserved populations and plan to practice in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) at the end of the residency. The curriculum is well-rounded predominantly focused on primary care, disease prevention, and chronic disease management in high-risk communities combined with specialty rotations and common procedure training.
