Greeter Program  

What is the role of the Greeter?

The overall role of the Greeter is to assist in facilitating consumer centered care for our patients, which includes patient acknowledgment and promoting better customer service.  The Greeter will be part of a team providing quality care to our patients. Greeters facilitate the following: 

  • Greets patients at the entrance of the Health Center.
  • Directs patients to appropriate departments throughout the health center.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for our patients.

What is the Purpose of the Greeter Program? 

  • To provide a user-friendly (customer service) environment for UHC patients and family members.
  • To assist patients in navigating and understanding the complex UHC health care system.
  • To provide an environment to inspire a positive perception of UHC patient care.
