HealthCorps Members
Unity Health Care Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to serve the community of the District of Columbia as Community HealthCorps members. Members serve 1,700 or 900 hours, which comes out to 40 or 20 hours per week during the course of a year. Upon completion of their term of service members will receive an education award of $4,725.00 or $2,362.00. Members will serve in Community Health Centers around the District of Columbia. Their duties will be composed of the following: patient education, case management, health outreach, and assisting patients with completing insurance paperwork.
